REHN BIER is based in South Australia's beautiful Barossa Valley and interprets classic beer styles from around the world with a hands’ on approach and no automation. Think Barossa Valley Beer, think REHN BIER. We believe that our beer and the way we make it complement the great wine, food and produce that is available in our local community and adds to the diversity of the region.
At REHN BIER we use traditional brewing principles, our beer is all natural. There are no additives, we do not filter or use finings. Our beer is conditioned, carbonated in the bottle using remaining yeast from the fermentation process.This all takes time so we dont rush, our beers take at least six weeks from brewing to release for sale. This gives time for the flavours to develope. Think Barossa Valley produce, think REHN BIER.
We also believe in low beer miles. We always use local and Australian supplier's where possible believing these ingredients, materials are as good (better) as those from anywhere else in the world. Think renewable, think reuse, think local, think REHN BIER.
We formulate the recipe, we brew the beer, we bottle the beer.It then goes into the conditioning room. After four days we take it out and hand label every bottle and give them a couple of loving turns to krausen the yeast and make sure carbonation will be completed. Then its back into the conditioning room for another 24 days. After that we sell the beer and its over to you our customers. Oh there is one more thing , we drink some of the beer!!
